The Geoff Pease Scholarship

Ben Brisson and Dean Golder, both 2003 graduates of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, have created a memorial scholarship in honor of Geoff Pease, a former MVRHS student and talented Island artist. He is the brother of Randy Pease, who was featured in the Times last year for an art show he held in Brooklyn, N.Y., in honor of Geoff.

According to a press release, the scholarship fund will honor Geoff’s memory by ensuring that each year a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School graduating class receives financial support to pursue a four-year degree in the arts. The goal is to raise enough money to offer annually a minimum award of $1,000.

To contribute by check, make a check payable to “The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School” and include “Geoff Pease Scholarship” in the memo line. Mail to: Office of the Superintendent, Att’n: Mary Lee Schroeder, 4 Pine Street, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568. To donate online, visit GeoffPeaseMS.org.
