Despite sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Oak Bluffs, with colorful lights shimmering in Ocean Park, decorated storefronts on Circuit Avenue, and the ceremonial tree lit for the season in Post Office Square. Islanders came downtown to enjoy the weather on Saturday, Dec. 5, whether it was shopping at the Oak Bluffs Open Market, partaking in a horse-drawn carriage ride, marching in the puppet parade, or decorating cookies at Offshore Ale Co. Other holiday festivities kick off in Edgartown and Vineyard Haven this weekend.
