Holly Bellebuono wins Nautilus Book Award

Holly Bellebuono’s book “Women Healers of the World” (SkyHorse Publishers) has been awarded the National Nautilus Book Award, earning the top Gold award in women’s books. According to a press release, this is the book’s second award, after earning Book of the Year from the International Herb Association. The book features 31 women from 20 countries and 16 healing traditions, based mostly on personal interviews conducted by Holly over seven years. The author collaborated with Vineyard artist Tracy Thorpe for the original watercolor portraits, and with Vineyard photographer Harry Beach. Holly Bellebuono lives in West Tisbury and directs the Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine and Vineyard Herbs Teas and Apothecary.
