You will pay for it

To the Editor:

The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket Steamship Authority built a 1,500-car parking lot in Falmouth. After one year of operation, it is necessary to spend another $500,000 to correct the drainage of this lot.

The Authority is poised to build the Woods Hole terminal at a cost of $60 million. We in Woods Hole will have to live with the excessive new terminal, but you on the islands will have to pay for it.
