The Sense of Wonder Creations spring art show and benefit will be held at its Vineyard Haven studio on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, from 1 to 5 pm. Proceeds from the celebration will go to the Rhythm Uganda Orphanage in Namasuba, Uganda. Orphanage director Godfrey Muwulya will attend with his handmade musical instruments, ready to teach African song and dance. Drummer Rick Bausman and his band will perform music, and Dan Butterworth, the award-winning puppeteer, will present his handcarved wooden puppets. Other arts, crafts, and activities include pottery with Bill O’Callaghan, wooden boat construction with Nat Benjamin, face paint, balloon animals, henna tattoos, games, and more.
