To the Editor:
My daughter and I were on a pleasant walk in Oak Bluffs last Tuesday when a helicopter started buzzing back and forth overhead. We joked they were following us. As we tried to guess what they were doing, my daughter suggested they were on some kind of training mission, or maybe the president was visiting. I said they used to look for marijuana plants, but in this day and age, I was sure they were not using taxpayer money for such silliness.
I was aghast to read in The Times it was a marijuana search. Next they will be saying the pot had a million-dollar street value. When will this foolishness stop?
