To the Editor:
The Library Friends of Oak Bluffs thanks the community for making our annual book sale this past week a rousing success — our neighbors who donated so many wonderful books and our eager shoppers all contributed to our success. The Library Friends thank director Allyson Malik and the library staff for their assistance and support throughout the year. Additional thanks to the Oak Bluffs Council on Aging, offices of the selectmen and town administrator, Andrew Farrissey, the VFW, Jim’s Package, and local media.
Sincere appreciation to all our volunteers and a huge thank you to el Edwards for leading the effort throughout the year.
With your overwhelming support of our annual book sale, the Library Friends help fund the programs, services, and collections of the Oak Bluffs Public Library.
