Shear Inspiration salon hosts ‘Santa’s Soup Station’

In an effort to spread holiday cheer, Kristen Araujo, owner of Shear Inspiration salon in Edgartown, will be hosting a free event on Christmas Eve. Ms. Araujo has made acts of community giving an annual tradition around the holidays, and this year she will be offering a hot soup station at the salon, which she is calling “Santa’s Soup Station.”

Ms. Araujo and her family will be serving a variety of hot soups and cookies, as well as distributing hats, gloves, and gift certificates for local businesses. Soup options will include kale, butternut squash, sweet potato lentil, seafood medley, chicken noodle, and more. The event is free and open to the public, and meals are available to stay or to go.

“Santa’s Soup Station” is open on Saturday, Dec. 24, from 2 to 4 pm at Shear Inspiration, 12 Mariners Way, near the Edgartown Triangle. VTA bus routes 1 and 13 stop right in front. For additional information, email, or call the salon at 508-627-8333.
