The Tisbury selectmen and Beach Road Design Review Committee will host a workshop Thursday night to review and ask questions about MassDOT’s plans for Beach Road at the 75 percent design level. The event starts at 4:30 pm in the Katharine Cornell Theatre.
Town administrator Jay Grande said plans will be available from MassDOT for people to examine. The $2.4 million state and federally funded project will upgrade and change the half-mile of Beach Road from Five Corners to the seawall past the R.M. Packer Co. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2018.
