Edgartown photographer David Welch sent us these “drone” photographs of a controlled burn on Saturday in Edgartown. Mr. Welch had permission to fly his drone over private property.
The Edgartown Fire department used the burn to practice firefighting skills on a house in the area of Crocker Drive and Muskoday Lane. The Edgartown Fire department installed a new hydrant specifically for this burn a few weeks ago.
The training exercise was conducted between 8 am and 4 pm.
