To the Editor:
Kudos to Ralph Packer for making a noticeable improvement to the Beach Road walking experience.
Last week I saw some guys cleaning up trash at the Packer facility. Two days ago when I walked by, I noticed that the whole stretch of grass in front of the main large building had been cleaned up, and the mugo pines at either end had been attractively pruned and mulched, with decorative borders of large, symmetrical stones placed around the mulched beds. Mr. Packer said that the stones were leftovers from the Lagoon Bridge project.
It looks very nice. I hope passers- and drivers-by will notice the pines and not throw any more trash near them, nor anywhere along Beach Road.
