To the Editor:
Your editorial (June 1, “Best of both worlds”) regarding the site location for the new Tisbury school was very inspiring. However, it failed to mention a very important factor that would affect the whole town.
The Manter well provides the majority of our drinking water, and we cannot afford to have anything happen to it, such as contamination by fertilizers for the playgrounds or any other intrusion. Additional property was purchased to protect the well, not for a new school. Maybe you might reconsider your opinion.
