MVRHS baseball players named 2017 All-Stars

Several Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School baseball players were named Eastern Athletic Conference league Baseball All-Stars for 2017. Jonas Lukowitz hit .271 with two home runs, five triples, 14 RBIs, 19 runs and 17 stolen bases. Lukowitz had a 6-2 pitching record with a 1.37 ERA and 45 K’s in 51 innings pitched. Chris Mayhew hit .356 with 16 RBI, 14 runs, and 10 stolen bases. Mayhew had a 3-2 pitching record with one save and a 2.28 ERA. James Sashin hit .373 with a .536 OBP, one home run, and 13 runs. Sashin had a 3-2 pitching record with one save, 2.74 ERA, 39 K’s in 46 innings pitched. Elias Fhagen-Smith hit .323 with a .451 OBP, 16 runs and 12 stolen bases. Fhagen-Smith had a 2-2 pitching record with 20 K’s in 19 innings pitched.
