High school juniors Kelly Klaren and Victoria Scott both won their tournaments this past weekend. Victoria Scott won the girls 18 and under level 7 tournament held in Simsbury, Conn., by scores of 6-3, 6-1, 6-1.
Kelly Klaren played in a girls 16 and under level 6 tournament in East Hartford, Conn., and won the final by a score of 3-6, 7-6, 10-5.
Klaren and Scott played the events as a tuneup for the upcoming high school season, which starts in a couple of weeks, where they will be defending their team state championship.
