At the March 26, 1:15 pm game of the Edgartown Bridge Club, six pairs competed. First place went to Bea Phear and Nancy Cabot, followed by Diana Dozier and Ency Fokos in second place. The previous week, on March 19, seven pairs competed. First place went to Ken Judson and John O’Keefe, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, and Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third place.
At the March 27, 7 pm game of the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, seven pairs competed. Michel Riel and Diane Drake finished first, followed by Bea Phear and Cecily Greenaway in second, and Carol Whitmarsh and Barbara Alleyne in third. The previous week, on March 20, four pairs competed. The overall winners were Dan and Nancy Cabot, who won all three of their matches.
At the March 29, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury, five pairs competed. First place went to Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh in second.
