Noah Glasgow wins at South Shore Regional Science Fair

Falmouth Academy students had a strong showing at the South Shore Regional Science Fair held at Bridgewater State University on Saturday, March 16. According to a press release from the school, seven of the 14 student projects presented were recognized, and earned a first place, a second place, four third place awards, and an honorable mention.

Noah Glasgow of Chilmark won a first-place award and the Naval Science Award for his project, “The Acidifying Ocean’s Effect on Protease Activity in Alteromonas.” Noah will compete at the Massachusetts State Science and Engineering Fair, held at MIT on May 3 and 4, and is eligible to compete for a spot at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Ariz., May 12 to 17.
