Come to the West Tisbury library to learn about the ocean with Felix Neck’s Ryan Ofsthun on Tuesday, July 30, at 10:30 am. According to a press release, Ofsthun will speak about large and small animals that live in the ocean around Martha’s Vineyard. Get up-close with some whale bones, and even some live critters from their marine life tank.
Ryan Ofsthun is the preschool director of the newly created Fern & Feather Preschool at Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. With over a decade of experience teaching in preschools both here in New England and in Texas, and a deeply rooted love of our natural world, Ofsthun joins us to share in the exploration of the wonders that can be found in and around our beautiful island.
This program is open to all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a mature caregiver. Free and open to the public.
