First Friday hits Main Street, Vineyard Haven, again on August 2, and it’s Stina Sayre Design’s 30th anniversary on the Island. To celebrate, Stina has invited an eclectic group of artists to share their art in its many forms at her shop. According to a press release, all summer at the shop on 43 Main St., Stina’s fashions will complement the work of artists, including Corinna Kaufman, Anna Maria Strömberg, and Judy Morton Bramhall. Seaweed art by Corinna Kaufman kicked off the seasonal event in July.
Photography by Anna Maria Strömberg is the centerpiece, along with Stina designs, on August 2 from 5 to 8 pm. Her current work represents Strömberg’s love of travel, yoga, food, and adventure.
Painter Judy Morton Bramhall’s work is part of the Sept. 6 First Friday event at Stina Sayre Designs. Bramhall has dabbled in calligraphy, quilt design, young-adult fiction writing, drawing, pastels, and acrylic painting over the years.
