Carol Rocamora talks about women in theater

The West Tisbury library hosts a presentation by Carol Rocamora, educator, playwright, translator, biographer, and critic. Rocamora’s talk, “Women in the Theater 2019: Playwrights, performers, provocateurs,” takes place on Tuesday, August 13, at 4:30 pm. Join the library as they celebrate women center stage, the release states, as Rocamora reviews the compelling voices of writers and roles in the 2018–19 New York theatre season. 

Rocamora serves on the faculty of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Juilliard School. A reviewer of New York theater, Rocamora is a member of the Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and the American Theatre Critics Association. 

This event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
