‘Finding Peace in a World of Stress and Anxiety’

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 4:30 pm at the West Tisbury library, Dr. Kay Sunakawa of Martha’s Vineyard Wellness Studio will discuss how stress impacts how we function. According to a press release, you can learn how you can unwind from years of tension and stress, and how you can live a more healthy and peaceful life. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Sunakawa graduated from Life University in Marietta, Ga., in 2016. While in school, Dr. Sunakawa found Network Spinal Chiropractic technique, and noticed what a profound change it made with her neck, shoulder, and low back pain. She also noticed such a change in her anxiety and depression, she knew she had to share this work with others. The Network Spinal technique is gentle and intuitive, perfect for all ages and abilities.

Dr. Sunakawa was born and raised in the Hudson Valley in New York, but has been coming to Martha’s Vineyard since she was a young girl. She has always had a deep connection to and love of the Vineyard, and has returned to give back and serve the Island. When she’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Sunakawa in the garden, volunteering, or on the beach with her dog Jax.
