Church/state, no divide

The decision of the town of West Tisbury at the annual town meeting to spend $150,000 on the Congregational Church, in addition to the $30,000 it has already spent, is totally unacceptable.

Vibrant again

Of the many important reasons to vote yes for beer and wine in Tisbury, I want to emphasize that the health of our business community is critical to the health of our entire town.

Real change for the better

A yes vote to permit the sale of beer or wine will allow only the following to occur: The sale of only beer or wine, only with food, only at your table, only at dining establishments approved and licensed by the town, only at those with at least 30 seats, and only by wait staff who have received state approved certification.

A straightforward issue

You'd never know it from all of the emotional rhetoric, but the beer and wine question facing Tisbury voters next Tuesday is a remarkably straightforward issue.
