Kitty Pilgrim’s career took her to Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran and North Korea. As a correnspondent and anchor for CNN, Ms. Pilgrim spent last 25 years traveling to different corners of the world, and now, she has brought her passion for writing to a slightly different path.
On July 5, her first novel, The Explorer’s Code, hit the shelves at book stores, and this Sunday, Ms. Pilgrim will speak at the Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival about this fact-based fiction.
She said, The Explorer’s Code is only the first of a 3-book series. She has already finished the second and begun working on the third.
