Organizers of the Island Grown Initiative (IGI) are passionate about educating Vineyarders about the desirability and availability of locally grown food. They are also passionate about providing. Founded in 2005, IGI’s goals include protecting local farmland, supporting farm families, and providing fresh food.

Since 2005, IGI has developed, updated, and published a map of Island farm stands that offer Island-grown vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, dairy, even honey and fiber. The Spring 2010 map and listings, the latest updated version, appears here. Some farms staff farm stands, others are self-serve, and some sell only at the West Tisbury Farmers Market. All the information you need to buy locally follows. Visit islandgrown.org to learn more.
