Eight high school graduates from the Tisbury School’s Class of 1950 shared lunch, laughs, and memories at the Farm Neck Golf Course restaurant on July 18.
Before the regional high school was completed in 1959, Tisbury School was the largest Island school, and included students through grade 12 from Aquinnah, Chilmark, and West Tisbury. The class of 1950 had 23 graduates.
Although most of the classmates live on Martha’s Vineyard, Philip Geyer made a trip from Helotes, Texas, and Esther Andrada Chandler from Boston to share the occasion.
