Phil da Rosa at Eisenhaur Gallery in 2024 —Anthony Esposito

MV SOUND is launching a new weekly concert series at the historic Strand Theatre in Oak Bluffs, every Thursday from May 14 through June 25.

Curated by Martha’s Vineyard musician and producer Phil DaRosa, the series features a rotating lineup of local and regional singer-songwriters, acoustic performers, and select rock bands in a listening-room environment — part of a broader mission to elevate the Island’s live music culture through thoughtfully curated events and professional production.

“We wanted to create something that feels intimate, authentic, and community-driven,” says DaRosa. “The goal was to build a series people could look forward to every week that showcases incredible local and regional talent in a setting where the music is the main focus.” The series kicks off on Thursday, May 14, at 8 pm with performances by Rose Guerin, Alex Karalekas, Missis Biskis, Phil DaRosa, and Darby Patterson. Doors open at 7:30 pm, show at 8 pm. Tiered ticket pricing. For tickets and the full schedule, visit mvsoundfest.com.
