No game was held at the Edgartown Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Jan. 2, due to the New Year’s holiday.
On Jan. 3, at the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, eight pairs competed in a club championship game. First place went to Dan and Nancy Cabot, followed by Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh in second place, and Dave Donald and Michel Riel in third place.
At the Jan. 5, 7 pm, game of the Island Bridge Club, nine pairs competed. First place went to Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh in second, Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in third, and Diane Drake and Lolly Hand in fourth place.
