Rose Goodwin died peacefully at home in the early morning of May 23rd. Her daughter, Constance Goodwin and her son-in-law, Richard Cascarino were with her in the home they all shared in West Tisbury. She was 91.

Harry B. Jones died peacefully in his sleep at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital on May 21, 2012 with his wife of 54 years, Aase Jones, and his beloved Yorkshire terrier, "Spookie," at his bedside. He was 80.

Joseph Patrick Leonard of Vineyard Haven died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. He was 80.
- Michael A. San Soucie
Michael A. San Soucie, 55, of Longwood, Florida, died peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2012, at his home. A memorial service will be held on Martha's Vineyard in August.
- Estelle T. Burnham
Estelle T. Burnham of Edgartown died on Wednesday, May 16, at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. She was 71.
- Anna B. Medeiros
A graveside service for Anna Medeiros will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 2 in the New Westside Cemetery in Edgartown, officiated by Rev. Michael Nagle, followed by a gathering at the P-A Club in Oak Bluffs.

Jean Mason Purdom Hiers died on May 17, 2012, at The Fairfax, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She was 94.
- Martin B. Watts
Martin B. Watts, 66, of Otisfield, Maine, formerly of Cape Elizabeth, died Tuesday morning, May 15, due to complications from diabetes. He was 66.
