Edgartown’s polls will be open from 10 am to 7 pm on Thursday, April 15, at the town hall meeting room in Edgartown. Voters will be asked to elect town officers and decide seven Proposition 2.5 override questions totaling more than $1 million. The override votes will hinge on what action voters take two days earlier at the annual town meeting. The seven override questions cover expenditures ranging from a new ambulance to a a new library design.

Michael Donoroma, veteran selectman and currently chairman of that board is running for reelection unopposed. The only contested race is for a seat on the planning board. Dudley Levick 3rd and Michael Jon McCourt will compete to finish the final year of the term left vacant when long-time planning board member Allison Cannon retired last year. Mr. McCourt was appointed last year to serve in Ms. Cannon’s place as an interim member until Thursday’s election.
