Lee A. (Borges) Metell of Oak Bluffs and Mashpee died Friday, April 16, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert D. Metell.She is survived by her daughters Doreen Rezendes of West Tisbury and Julie R. Metell of Mashpee, son Daniel Metell of West Tisbury, five grandchildren — Amy Del Torto, Lisa Morin, Dana Rezendes, Jenny Dowd and Beth Kaeka — and six great grandchildren. Lee was predeceased by her daughter Dale Metell.A funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 20, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Massasoit Ave, Oak Bluffs, followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineyard Ave, Oak Bluffs. Family and Friends gathered at the Portuguese American Club, Vineyard Ave, Oak Bluffs following graveside services. A visitation was held on Monday evening 5 – 8 pm in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown Rd., Oak Bluffs.
