The M.V. Whole Health Alliance (MVWHA) hosted WellFest last Saturday at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury. There, Islanders and visitors sampled a number of holistic modalities, including acupuncture, aromatherapy, chiropractic medicine, energy healing, message therapy, naturopathic medicine, Pilates, and yoga.

Information booths introduced attendees to the Whole Health Alliance, the Yoga Barn, Integrated Health Care, Sacred Circle of Yoga, and Heart-Centered Living among others. The Scottish Bakehouse offered lunch for sale.

MVWHA is a nonprofit organization formed with the purpose of creating and developing strategies to integrate health care services in the community. For more information, visit mvwholehealth.org.
