Gilbert “Gilly” Silvia, 77, of Vineyard Haven and a lifelong Island resident, died on June 8 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.
He was the husband of Barbara (Francis) Silvia.
Visiting hours will be held in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs on Monday, June 14 from 6 to 8 pm.
A graveside service will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery, State Road, Vineyard Haven on Tuesday, June 15, at 11 am officiated by Rev. Roger Spinney. Military honors provided by the Veterans of Martha’s Vineyard.
