Tonight is the 25th annual Taste of the Vineyard Gourmet Stroll, the highly anticipated, always sold-out fundraiser for the Martha’s Vineyard Preservation Trust. The Trust, which owns buildings such as the Dr. Daniel Fisher House and the Flying Horses, hosts the event on the lawn of the Old Whaling Church from 6:30 to 10 pm. Per usual, there is music by Jerry Bennett and the Sultans of Swing, and more than 75 food and beverage purveyors. Tickets were $150.
However, the Taste of the Vineyard Patrons’ Dinner Dance and Gala Auction is not sold out. It takes place, Saturday, June 19, on the Dr. Daniel Fisher House Lawn. Tickets are $200 and are available by visiting mvpreservation.org.
