After failing on the first try June 8, to turnout in sufficient numbers to make a quorum, West Tisbury voters responded Tuesday and completed their special town meeting.
A total of 144 voters turned out, more than the needed 114, at the West Tisbury School Tuesday. Voters approved four of five articles.
The meeting began with reports on plans for a new library building and the up-Island school committee election this fall.
Following discussion over the language in two warrant articles that pertained to the Bailey Park Road affordable housing project, where land was obtained by the town through tax title foreclosures, voters approved both articles.
The fifth and last article on the warrant was withdrawn. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm.
