Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty a.k.a. Jake and Elwood are dynamic performers known for their authentic rendition of the Blues Brothers Show. The duo performed The Official Blues Brothers Revue alongside the local Mike Benjamin Band for a concert to benefit the Vineyard Playhouse at the Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs last Thursday evening, July 1

The concert combined the comedy and hits from the original movie while paying homage to Chicago’s rich musical history of blues, gospel, and soul. The rhythmic show proved to be both as amusing and captivating as it promised. The live concert was performed with the precision that is trademark of the original Blues Brothers Band.

The Official Blues Brothers Revue was sponsored by Judy Belushi Pisano and Ernie Boch Jr., Subaru of New England. The “Blues Brothers” are officially sanctioned by Dan Aykroyd and the Belushi Estate. For more information on the Vineyard Playhouse please visit the website
