Tisbury sets hearing on Comcast license renewal

Tisbury will hold a public hearing at 5 pm, August 10, at the senior center to determine whether the town should renew its cable television license deal with Comcast.

“Every year the town receives numerous calls relating to the quality of cable television in Tisbury,” department of public works director Fred LaPiana said in a press release. “This is a perfect opportunity to have those concerns heard directly by Comcast, the current cable television supplier.”

Public records for consideration at the hearing are available for review during regular business hours, at Tisbury town hall, and reproduction for a reasonable fee, within two weeks of the hearing.
