BravEncore departs to Scotland
After 18 months of planning, rehearsing, and fundraising, the BravEncore theatre troupe departs to Scotland this Saturday, August 14 on the 3:45 pm ferry leaving Oak Bluffs. The local compilation of high school drama students will perform their original musical play, “The Secret of the Seven Sisters” at the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. Islanders and visitors are invited and encouraged to send off the talented group, who will be lead by a bagpiper onto the ferry. BravEncore will fly to London where they will spend three days before joining other American high school actors on a train to Edinburgh. They will perform there August 20 through 23 in a city theatre and plan on promoting their talents on the streets as well along with thousands of other actors from around the world.
