East Chop Beach Club held its first Shuffleboard tournament, Sept. 6, at 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
From 16 contestants — munching snacks and hoisting drinks — only two winners emerged.
Penny (Muller) Hinkle with one shot scored two 7’s in the last round to bring her and her partner, Rick Herrick, the glory and the cash prize.
