To the Editor:Why is the Vineyard special? My husband and I were working on a project that required a piece of copper. We contacted Joe Cazeault, a copper gutter installer, on his voice mail.
He returned the call the next day, with instructions that the sheet of copper would be outside his office door. No charge.
I then contacted Billy, a custom lantern designer, at Lamplighters Corner and went there with the copper for advice on our project. Billy resolved the problem and delivered the finished product to our home, and, once again, no charge. Joe and Billy didn’t know us, nor we them. It was simple Vineyard kindness.
