Mary Rose Fisher, 103, of Edgartown died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Windemere Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth Fisher. Her funeral will be held from Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 10 am. Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth’s Church, Main Street, Edgartown at 11 am. Burial will follow in the New Westside Cemetery, Robinson Road, Edgartown.
The Times described her rich life in a story published on May 27, “Mary Fisher turns the clock on 103.”
