Nancy and Matthew Hawksbee of West Tisbury announce the birth of their son, Padreigh Stephen Hawksbee, on November 29 at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Padraigh weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and he joins siblings Cullumn, Maeve, and Eamonn.

Jennifer and Roger Schilling of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Gabriella Joy Schilling, on November 25 at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Gabriella weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

Lucineia Goncalves and Joao de Sousa of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of their son, Gustavo Goncalves Sousa, on November 23 at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.

Laura Darby and Chuck Noonan
Laura Darby of Stockton, N.J., and Chuck Noonan of Edgartown have announced their engagement. Ms. Darby is the daughter of Karl and Laura Darby of Stockton, and Mr. Noonan is the son of Charles and Maggie Noonan of Greene, Maine. A fall 2011 wedding is planned.
Holly Griesser and Andrew Wallace
Holly Griesser of Vineyard Haven and Andrew Wallace of Londonderry, N.H., have announced their engagement. Holly is the daughter of Cindy and step-dad Tim Corner of Oak Bluffs and Peter Griesser. Andrew is the son of Cindy and Dana Wallace. A May wedding is scheduled at the Sailing Camp in Oak Bluffs.

Michael DelloRusso of Oak Bluffs and Jeeranan Pasotakang of Burirum, Thailand, married on November 7 at Grace Church in Vineyard Haven, with the Rev. Judith Campbell of Oak Bluffs officiating.A future trip to Thailand and Arizona is planned.
Achievements
Phil Forest, a photovoltaic system designer and installer at South Mountain Company, recently passed a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners exam to become a Certified Solar Electric Installer.
Curves of Martha’s Vineyard donated more than $700 to the American Cancer Society recently. The women’s fitness center waived joining fees for new members who showed proof of a recent mammogram and donated $25 to the cancer society. Current members also made donations in honor or memory of loved ones in their fight against breast cancer.
