Hockey boys beaten by Bourne

Despite firing ten more shots on goal than did Bourne (31-21) the MV varsity boys’ hockey team lost their match to the Canalmen, Saturday, at the Gallo Arena, 3-1.The Vineyard’s first period goal was by Colby Gouldrup assisted by Tyson Araujo. Bourne scored twice in the first and again in the third period.

Louis Jacobs-Walsh tended net for the Islanders. The busy Bourne goalie was Josh Eddy.

Earlier, at Tabor Academy, The Islanders lost to Old Rochester, 3-2, despite leading as late as the third period, 2-1.

The junior varsity puckmen lost Friday at MV Arena to Franklin by a score of 7-0.
