Camp Jabberwocky received a $500 grant from the Harvard Pilgrim Community Spirit 9/11 Grant Program. The money will be used to defray the cost of purchasing pavers to improve and expand wheelchair paths at the camp, according to a press release.
The Harvard Pilgrim Community Spirit 9/11 Grant Program was created in commemoration to those lost on September 11, 2001 through a special contribution to the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation. The Program provides Harvard Pilgrim employees with an opportunity to seek Harvard Pilgrim’s assistance in funding community activities that they regularly support through their own donations of time and/or money.
