$2,500 small business grant offered
The Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network (MVWN) will offer a $2,500 grant to a business person based on Martha’s Vineyard who wishes to improve their business skills, grow or improve an existing business, or start a new one.
The grant is open to all Vineyard business people, both men and women and members and non-members of MVWN. The winner will be announced on May 17th.
The deadline for the application is April 8. There is no application fee for MVWN members. Non-members will be asked to pay an application fee of $110, which will include a years’ membership to the network.

Tower Foundation grants coming up
The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation is accepting inquiries for its 2011 Mental Health grant cycle. Island organizations that focus on preventing or alleviating psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults to age 26 may be eligible for funds if the address one or more of the foundation’s funding priorities.
