Daylight-saving time will begin Sunday, March 13.

The 2005 energy bill, signed by President George Bush in August of that year, included a provision that added four weeks to daylight-saving time, beginning in 2007.

Daylight saving time used to start on the first Sunday in April and end on the last Sunday in October. It now starts on the 2nd Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

Monday, the sun will rise at 6:56 am and set at 6:47 pm. The first day of spring is Sunday, March 20.
