Three Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School (MVRHS) athletes recently achieved “All-Star” status in regional sports organizations.
The Eastern Athletic Conference (EAC) named junior Colby Gouldrup to the Boys’ Ice Hockey All-Star team.
The South Eastern Massachusetts Girls’ Hockey League voted senior Gillian O’Callaghan and junior Celia Mercier as All-Stars.
The EAC postponed a vote on the All-Stars for boys’ and girls’ basketball until last night, pending the results of a play-off game between boys’ teams from MVRHS and Cardinal Spellman High School of Brockton. The game ended in a double-overtime loss for the Vineyard team, 88-85.
