To the Editor:
In the light of the fiscal mess Oak Bluffs is in, I am expressing support and respect to selectperson Gail Barmakian’s exit of last week’s meeting.
I believe that if more attention to detail had been paid by town officials over the past year, the town would not be in the current situation. This is not the time to be unprofessional or sloppy in any meetings or decision making.
Good for you, Gail, for taking an ethical stand in a strong, graceful manner.
