Martha’s Vineyard tops Blue Devils behind Stewart pitching

The Martha’s Vineyard high school baseball team earned its fourth win of the season against nine losses behind the effective pitching of Will Stewart who went the distance giving up just three base hits and fanning seven in the 12-3 victory at Chatham, Thursday.

Stewart helped his own cause with two hits and as many runs batted in. Also with multiple base hits for the Islanders were Corey Perotta, Jack Roberts, and Noah Stobie.

The Bishop Stang nine visits Friday, at 3:30 pm.
