Gone Hollywood

To the Editor:

On Saturday, May 14, the junior class of MVRHS “went Hollywood” at their prom at the Beach Plum Inn in Chilmark. Our night began with a red carpet entrance and paparazzi, and the night proceeded with excellent food, music, and dancing.

The junior class thanks the Beach Plum Inn for providing our class with a wonderful location to host our prom, along with excellent entrees and beverages. We thank the staff of the Beach Plum for their generosity and hospitality.

The junior prom was entertained by an excellent band, The Sultans of Swing. They provided us with enjoyable music and a fun night of dancing. Thank you again, Sultans of Swing, for performing at our prom!

Our classmate, Max Moreis, created a beautiful red-carpeted cake that we’ll be talking about for years to come.

We also thank the staff members of MVRHS who chaperoned the prom and volunteered their time.

And finally, thank you to our class advisors, Amy Lilavois, Kim Garrison, and Todd Sawyer, because we couldn’t have put the prom together without you all.
