The bride is the daughter of Joann Balla and Mario Carvalho of Oak Bluffs. She is also the granddaughter of Loretta “Seaview” Balla. The groom is the son of Dr. & Mrs. Gary Peer of Danville.
A lakeside wedding in Las Vegas is planned for August 29, 2011.

Meghan Ann Burke and Christopher Paul DeMello, both of Oak Bluffs, announce their engagement.
The bride is the daughter of Carrie Mello of Oak Bluffs, William Burke of Vineyard Haven, and Kathleen Burke of Mashpee. The groom is the son of Deanna Brooks of Florida, and Christopher DeMello and Liza Buckley of Vineyard Haven.
A spring 2013 wedding is planned.

Nathan Benjamin Herrick and Ashley Ann Rundall married on June 25 at the Chappaquiddick Community Center.
The bride is the daughter of Lisa and George Medeiros of Oak Bluffs, and Douglas Rundall of Green Forest, Ark. The groom is the son of Cheryl Herrick and Joe Spagnuelo of Edgartown.
Both bride and groom were raised on the Vineyard. They now reside in Malden with their daughter, Olivia Herrick.
Constance F. Norton & Joseph D. Bevon
Constance Flannagan Norton and Joseph D. Bevon married at sunset on Saturday, July 9, on the beach in West Tisbury near the home of relatives John and Pam Kempf. The wedding was officiated by Trudy and George Allen of Jackson, Miss., where Ms. Allen is an attorney. She was made a legal officiant in Massachusetts by a proclamation signed by Gov. Deval Patrick.

The bride is the daughter and stepdaughter of Raymond and Mary Gosselin of Edgartown and Margaret and Bruce Ekholm of Falmouth. The groom is the son and stepson of Claire DeYoung and Christian Haufler of Marshfield Hills and Jim and Eileen Keegan of Carver.
