On October 14th, the Commonwealth Solar II rebate program reopened with $3 million dollars to award by the end of 2011.
Since 2008, the Commonwealth Solar rebate program has awarded over half a million dollars in support of over 400 kW of solar electric generation on Martha’s Vineyard. Of that, South Mountain Company in West Tisbury has installed over 200 kW and won over a quarter million in rebate funding for their clients, according to a South Mountain press release.
